Wiser Than Serpents by Susan May Warren

Jack Bauer's writing team could take a few lessons from THIS author! I've been a fan of Susan's for a long time. I adored meeting Josey, had a great time "Reclaiming Nick", "Taming Rafe", and "Finding Stephanie".

But this novel blew me away, enlightened me, encouraged me AND entertained me--that's a home run in fiction!

"Wiser Than Serpents" brings together a huge cast of characters, many of them familiar faces. When Yanna Andrevka's younger sister meets her future husband via the Internet and makes plans to meet him in America, Yanna feels a boatload of regret and loneliness.

But when Elena never makes it to her intended destination, Yanna's emotions harden into resolve. She herself traces Elena's path, and ends up in the human trafficking stream that runs through Taiwan.

With no way out.

That is, until God steps in. Enter Delta Force captain David Curtiss, Yanna's longtime email friend and the man she has confusing feelings for...but nothing is clearer than his timely rescue.

Together, along with Vicktor and Roman and a few other old friends, they plunge into the filthy and sin sick world of human slavery. As we journey along, Susan gives us an up close and personal look at the plague that has crept into every country, including ours.

But wait, there's more! Gracie, Vicktor's American fiancee, has her own hands full with the disappearance of another young girl. Contacting the team in Taiwan and Russia, together they uncover a second serpent of sorts, operating a sex-trafficking network out of the United States.

With multiple characters, simultaneous scenarios, and a deep and solid message of faith and redemption, Susan May Warren has written THE novel to rival the every minute something changes, pulse-pounding and white knuckle mission of everyone's favorite spy show, '24'.

I'm saying, put THIS writer on staff...THEN that show would be worth watching!

With her fast paced and believable story line, to characters who are so vivid and real, to her genuine faith laid out on these pages for everyone to see and receive, you just can't miss with "Wiser Than Serpents".

As an added incentive, Susan has put her money where her heart is: 15% of all sales from this book will go to International Justice Mission, a group of real life heroes who do the work you're reading about in this book.

And, as if that isn't enough to get you to read this one, I'm giving "Wiser Than Serpents" the golden bookmark. What more can I say? Read. This. Book. Then help stop international slave trading...Susan will show you how to start.

Happy Reading!
