Bible Dominoes by Juliet David, Illustrations by Jo Perry

About the Product:

This domino game helps children to learn about the Bible and Jesus while playing! It also encourages communication, sharing, counting, and matching skills. The pieces are large and colorful, so they’re easy to pick up, and the pictures are clear.

The set includes 28 dominoes with a mixture of Bible story characters, numbers, and animals to match, as well as instructions and a story booklet explaining the stories featured on the cards. A useful resource for home, school, or Sunday school.

My Thoughts:

Here's something fun, just in time for summer!  I don't know about your little ones, but mine had a tendency to get bored quickly.  "Bible Dominoes" breaks up the boredom and allows just about any age to have fun playing and learning about the Bible.

The box recommends ages 3 and up, but if your child can recognize colors, numbers or animals you're good to go!  My six-year-old grandson likes to build ramps for his cars, and we talk about the different dominoes as he 'drives along the highway'.

The pieces are sturdy and easy to hold, and the colors are bright and appealing.  Each set comes with 28 dominoes and a study booklet that parents can read to or with their children.  The box is also well constructed with easy storage for the pieces when you're not using them.

"Bible Dominoes" is an ideal gift, a great teaching tool and perfect for preschoolers just learning about their world.  I love the colorful illustrations and my grandkids (ages 6 and 16 months) love the dominoes.

My thanks to my friends at Kregel Publishing for my set of "Bible Dominoes" in exchange for an honest review.  I highly recommend "Bible Dominoes", and since the price is so economical, I'd grab more than one set while supplies last!
