Princess Stories by Carolyn Larsen

About the Book:

Little princesses will love reading about the women of the Bible. They will learn about the loyalty of Ruth, the wisdom of Deborah, and the courage of Esther . . . and so much more.

Most important, girls will discover that they, too, are princesses—daughters of the King. As they look into these stories, they’ll learn to love God and to follow his Word.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the most special princess of all?
You, special princess, are the daughter of the King.
You’re more precious to him than any other thing!

Open this book and help your daughter find value and purpose in living as God’s little princess!

My Thoughts:

First of all, the design of this book is gorgeous.  And with the intense interest in all things princess these days, why not teach young girls what a true princess really is?  After all, when your Father is the King of kings, doesn't that make you His princess?

The second reason I love this book: they author focuses on the well known women of the Bible, but also brings attention to the lesser known princesses, like Huldah, the teaching princess.  Or the daughters of Z, the teamwork princesses.

Each story is about two pages long, and the passage of Scripture is right there under the title of the reading, so you can take your little princess straight to the Bible.  The story concludes with some questions both about the story and about making it personal for your little girl.

The final story of the book is about you, God's Princess...about the difference you can make when you walk in the footsteps of the King.  I'm getting a copy for my granddaughter!

My thanks to my friends at Tyndale Publishing for a sneak peek at "Princess Stories" in exchange for an honest review.  If you have little ones enamored with royalty, this is a book for you!

Happy Reading!
