Visible Threat by Janice Cantore

About the Book:

Officer Brinna Caruso wants perfection—perfect justice and a perfect world. She wants to save and protect all the innocents in the world, no matter the cost.

Orphaned and struggling to get by, Ivana and her sister left Bulgaria for America with dreams of a better life. But since they arrived in Long Beach, everything they were promised has turned out to be a lie.

After a dead girl is found in the river with a mysterious tattoo on her hip, homicide detective Jack O’Reilly asks for Brinna’s help. Unaware of the depths of evil that will be uncovered, Brinna finds herself flung into a dangerous frontier—an organized human trafficking ring.

My Thoughts:

Janice returns with her fantastic heroine, Brinna Caruso and other favorites return as well.  The Kid Crusader hasn't changed much since her previous case, but she's learning.  With Hero, her canine cop at her side, she'll hunt down every child predator no matter the cost.

Jack O'Reilly has grown and healed, recovering from the loss of his wife and his love for law enforcement has returned.  He hopes to partner up with Brinna again...but just for a new case?  Or is something more brewing.

"Visible Threat" packs a serious punch as Janice tackles the evil of human trafficking, and brings it home to America's doorstep.  After reading Janice's book you'll have the feeling it could be happening in your town.  Learn from the heroic actions of fictional characters, then find out what you can do in the real world to help put and end to this evil and horrific crime.

My thanks to my friends at Tyndale Publishing House for my advance copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.  Janice's books remind me to pray for those who protect and serve, and I honestly think you'll enjoy these stories as well.

Happy Reading!
