Kristin Billerbeck is back with her newest YA fiction release and the second in the "Universally Misunderstood" series. I love Kristin's wit and sense of literary style, and both shine in this brand new story.
"Perfectly Invisible" follows the life of high school senior Daisy Crispin. It's her final semester, and she is determined to make her mark on life before she moves on to college.
Her earlier efforts made a lasting impression in "Perfectly Dateless", but not the impression she had hoped for. Now dealing with the repercussions from those choices, Daisy deals with a friendship that seems to be tipped in the favor of the other girl, and a relationship that leaves her feeling invisible.
That final, supposed perfect year of high school truly does not exist, as Daisy discovers. But she also finds out that placing your trust in the One who walks with you through it all is the perfect thing to do. Because who else will be there for you when your supposed best friend steals your possible boyfriend?
Talk about embarrassing!
But Daisy's ultimate humiliation awaits her in the form of a high school prank--or tribute of love--that will be forever enshrined in her high school yearbook. Who's behind it? What did the culprit intend...admiration, or embarrassment? And can Daisy pull her life out of this spotlight spiral of unwanted attention?
Maybe being "Perfectly Invisible" isn't so bad after all! My thanks to Donna Hausler at Revell for sending me my copy of Kristen's latest, and I'm giving it four out of five bookmarks, with a can of spray paint as a charm. You never know when you'll need it to cover your tracks....
Look for "Perfectly Invisible" in bookstores everywhere, and don't forget to pick up a copy of "Perfectly Dateless", both available from Revell.
Happy Reading!
