Letter Of Love From China by Bonnie Cuzzolino (illustrated by Jax Bennett)

Photobucket

With colorful and rich illustrations, "Letter Of Love From China" will fill a need in the lives of so many children and families! Bonnie Cuzzolino's book is a labor of love both for her own adopted daughter and for families who've adopted children from China.

Written from the perspective of a Chinese mother, Bonnie has "explained" some of the reasons children in China are left at children's homes to be cared for until they are adopted.

She has also done a wonderful job of giving these children and their families a taste of Chinese culture and tradition, written on a level that a small child can comprehend.

With so many families choosing international adoption, there is a genuine need for more books such as Bonnie's. I would love to see an entire series of books, with children and cultures featured from around the world.

I'm giving "Letter of Love from China" five out of five bookmarks, with a tiny globe as a charm. Buy a copy for a family, or for yourself today!

Happy Reading!

Deena

Wonderful review, Deena! Thank you on Bonnie's behalf. She's so wonderful to work with. She's going to be on a virtual book tour in May and this review will be such a nice part of it. Something you said..."I would love to see an entire series of books, with children and cultures featured from around the world." Wouldn't that be the neatest thing?

You should review children's books more often Deena! :-)

Hi Deena,
Thanks for a wonderful review!

I encourage parents to purchase my book as a summer read for their
children. We also carry Chinese jewelry for everyone to enjoy.

A portion of all proceeds will go to help the children in China left homeless from the recent earthquake.

God Bless,
