My Thoughts:

There is no way I can add to the list of features available in this Bible, so I won't even try.  In fact, just knowing this is the most recommended Bible for children is the best endorsement.  So, what to say now?

I'm just old enough to remember what a children's Bible used to look like.  A painting of Jesus with long hair, surrounded by children embossed on the cover and wrapped around to the back.  A handful of full color illustrations depicting Bible stories such as Noah's Ark or Daniel in the lions' den...and kind of scary at that.

A dedication page filled in by either mom and dad or the Sunday School Director.  And that was about it.  Oh, and maybe some maps that no one ever talked about but provided mild entertainment during the hour long message.

Now, let's look at the "NKJV Adventure Bible" in that light, shall we?  No wonder it's the most recommended Bible for kids!  Not only does it have high appeal, but it's a Bible that encourages study and involvement with God's Word on a daily basis.

My thanks to my friends at Zondervan Publishing for my complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Very highly recommended.

Happy Reading!
