About the Book:

My Thoughts:

Dani Pettrey's McKenna family ranks right up there with the O'Malley clan in my opinion! This is top-notch suspense with characters that you will love. Dani adds just the right amount of romance to her stories, and the faith of the McKenna family is evident throughout the novel.

While the family dynamic is familiar and enjoyable, Dani puts a unique twist in the stories with setting. Welcome to Alaska, reading peeps! Enjoy your stay, but remember that danger lurks everywhere...and if it's out there, a McKenna will find it!

Piper McKenna just hasn't learned to leave well enough alone.  Sound familiar to anyone besides me?  But family first, and she'll do anything to help her brother Reef, the returning prodigal sibling.

Problem is, Deputy Landon Grainger feels like family.  He's known the McKennas for years, and he can sense trouble lurking.  Pushing for the truth could possibly push Piper further away...is that something he's willing to risk??

Be prepared for some twists and turns in this newest tale...but rest assured everything comes together by the final pages...just not as you'd expect. Piper is my favorite McKenna so far, but I'm hoping each sibling gets his/her own story. The "Alaskan Courage" series is one series I don't want to see come to a quick end!

Dani has earned a new spot on my 'must read' wish list with this one.  She had me with her debut novel, "Submerged", and she's cemented me in place as a fan with "Shattered".  I cannot wait to see what she dreams up next, and to meet the next McKenna sibling up close and personal.

Did I mention I LOVE this family??
