Wonders Never Cease by Tim Downs

I know a Bug Man novel by Tim Downs is most definitely worth reading, but I had some reservations about his new, stand alone tale. It's nice to know that Tim Downs can write about any topic and make it not only fascinating, but fabulous!

"Wonders Never Cease" tackles the subject of visions and angels. Seems Nurse Kemp McAvoy can see a get rich quick scheme just about any place...including in his new patient's room.

When his Hollywood star patient ends up in a drug induced coma, Kemp has the wild idea of 'helping' her see a vision of an angel. An angel with a message for the world, that she MUST write and sell, a guaranteed best-selling book.

Problem is, his girlfriend's daughter IS seeing angels! Or, is she?

Can Leah really see angels, or is she merely making up tall tales for attention? Will Kemp pull off his hair-brained scheme, or will he merely make trouble for his girlfriend and his employer?

And what will you come away with after reading this humorous, slightly bizarre tale of the spiritual realm? I came away with a heart-warming story, and a new respect for hospital janitors!

Tim has created an intriging set of characters, and come up with a few scenarios that will definitely have you shaking your head in astonishment.

"Wonders Never Cease" rates four out of five bookmarks from me, with a stethoscope as a charm. Watch for its release next month from Thomas Nelson, and my thanks to my friends there for my advanced copy!

I'm still hoping for a new Bug Man novel soon!

Happy Reading!
