Happy Tails by Linda Hultin Winn

I bought this book because I fell in love with the design: I'm treasuring this book because of the things I learned when I read it. Linda Hultin Winn has a heart for dogs and for God's people, and it shows in her writing.

"Happy Tails" chronicles the lives of Bo and Mac--two English Springer Spaniel rescue dogs that Linda and her husband Earl adopted. Through their adventures, Linda shares spiritual truth that is easy to grasp and you will want to apply to your life.

Bo is the oldest, and he came to Linda with trust issues. Through his story, we learn about trusting in God more, about changing out old habits for new ones, and much more.

Mac is adopted later on, and he's an adventurer at heart. He wanders away often, and teaches us a lot about forgiveness, repentance and grace. Mac also has a knack for rolling in the ickiest, nastiest stuff...demonstrating our need for cleansing and forgiveness.

If you're a dog-lover, you'll devour this book! It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves those tail-wagging, four-legged fur balls of fun and affection (Christmas is coming: hint! hint!). I'm giving "Happy Tails" five out of five bookmarks with a collar and leash as a charm.

Oh, and make sure to keep the tissues handy for this one!

Happy Reading!
