When I found out Charlene Baumbich had a new novel releasing, I was thrilled! She is without a doubt one of my favorite authors. Her new novel, "Stray Affections", is the beginning of what promises to be a wonderful series.

Filled with quirky characters and Charlene's trademark humor, "Stray Affections" tells the story of Cassandra Higgins. While at a Collectors' Convention she stumbles across a snowglobe that captivates her.

Memories begin rising to the surface after Cassandra purchases the snowglobe...and mysterious things start happening. Wonderful things. Life-changing things. Just what did her spur-of-the-moment purchase spark for Cassandra and her family?

Well, you'll just have to read the novel to find out! Charlene's stories are delightful tales that will make you laugh, smile and maybe even cry--all in the same book! I'm thrilled she's writing fiction again, and can't wait for more.

I think I love Charlene's novels most because of the small town feeling. Everyone knows everyone, you'll meet a host of unforgettable people, and the affection and humor is contagious. I almost want to move to these imaginary towns, she makes them sound so delightful!
