Outlaw's Bride by Lori Copeland

Lori Copeland has been known as the queen of the Christian western romance for some time, and her title is well deserved. In my opinion, she was the new pioneer, following in the footsteps of Janette Oke, but also forging new territory for today's western writers.

But with her newest novel in her newest series, she has truly outdone herself! "Outlaw's Bride" has a fresh, new feel, and a unique storyline that was not only enjoyable, but surprising!

Ragan Ramsey has her hands full, and she's not getting any younger. With a father who's pastoring days are over due to overwhelming tragedy, it's all she can do to keep an eye on him now that his mind is slowly slipping away.

Her younger sisters need her now that their mother is gone, and they look to her for nearly everything. Plus, her job as housekeeper for retired Judge Procter McMann has a unique twist to it...

...but you'll have to read the book to find out what it is!

Johnny McAllister is on a hunt for vengeance...and it is well deserved considering how his life has turned out. But did he truly rob the bank AND kidnap the judge's daughter? Or was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

When his sentence brings him to Paradise, California, both he and Ragan get far more than either bargained for, and it's up for debate over whether or not either is happy about it.

Laced with humor, realistic characterization, and people that live on in your heart once the cover closes, "Outlaw's Bride" is one of Lori's finest novels. My one complaint: it wasn't long enough! I wanted more, and it wrapped up a tiny bit too fast for me...

...but maybe that's because I wanted MORE! So I'm giving "Outlaw's Bride" four out of five bookmarks, with a rolling pin as a charm...you'll never look at baking cookies the same way after this!

Happy Reading!
