The New Mom's Guide Series: Finding Your Own Mothering Style by Susan Besze Wallace

As a grandma helping my daughter with her firstborn son, I'm always on the lookout for great books on raising children. Some of the best I've found are the short and easy to read books...at least, for her, that is!

Susan Besze Wallace writes with humor, candid honesty, and an openness that draws you into her book and engages you from the first page.

"Finding Your Own Mothering Style" sets new moms free to be the mom Christ designed for their specific child. Susan shares in the very beginning how she put her first son to sleep at night, and how she hid it...

...until she met a mom who had her own unique way of getting her child to sleep!

Chapters include discussions on what you bring to your mothering from who you are as a person, dealing with grandparents, listening to your inner momma, and finding companionship.

Being a new mom is one of the greatest gifts God gives us as women, but it can be a time of great struggle, loneliness and insecurity. After all, a new life is in your hands to raise, mold and shape.

Susan's series of books gives new moms permission to be themselves, uniquely created for their own child, and also gives Biblical guidelines on how to parent in a Godly way, but not a cookie-cutter fashion.

Plus, the books are fun to read! She has more in the series that I hope to share with you soon. For now, I'm giving "Finding Your Own Mothering Style" five out of five bookmarks with a baby rattle as a charm.

For grandmothers, new moms and moms to be...these books are the best! Get a set as a gift and help moms be the moms God designed them to be!

Happy Reading!

What a neat book. I wish I'd had something like that to read when I had my first!
