I'm on a gift book roll today, but these are great ideas for summer giving, and I love the idea of giving books as gifts! Especially these little gems from Harvest House.

"Home Spa Escapes" by Kathy Hatch is filled with soothing artwork. Even the cover calms me a bit, with it's blend of green and blue images.

But packed inside are recipes for home spa treatments that are not only affordable, but FUN! Plus Kathy's included quotes to think on, along with ideas to help us de-stress.

I can see this being used at a women's retreat, or at a weekend girls getaway...some soothing music and Scripture reading, and one or two of these ideas would truly rejuvenate some tired out sisters in Christ!

An entire ministry could be built around the ideas in this little book, and the packaging and price is so good, each participant could take one home as an extra treat!

That's the great thing about gift books...the ideas for giving are endless. And with the summer heat on its way, the idea of giving just feels so much more appealing to me.

So, yes, I'm giving "Home Spa Escapes" five out of five bookmarks, with a bathrobe as a charm. It's a light weight terry cloth green robe, just in case you were wondering:-)
