On a Someday by Roxanne Henke (with a giveaway)

I love it when favorite authors revisit old locales and characters in their new novels. Roxanne Henke created a group of people that are still in my heart with "Coming Home To Brewster". In her latest novel, some of my 'friends' reappear in brief vignettes.

What is it you long to do, but keep putting off, waiting until someday comes? That's the premise of Roxanne's new novel. Claire Westin has always wanted to be more than a wife, mother, and college professor. When her someday career comes, how can she say no?

Her husband, Jim, has great plans himself--but he's still waiting for that someday to arrive. As his grocery empire expands, so does his stress level. What will his someday bring--tragedy or triumph?

And their son Drew moved away to avoid what he now longs for. Can he overcome pride and fear to reach out and take hold of his someday?

Sprinkled throughout the story are moments of "aha"...those kinds of moments that reflect your own personality or situation. Moments that cause you to pause and think about your own someday.

I adore Roxanne Henke. She is one of the best authors of contemporary fiction and her books are always a must read. I tend to savor them, as it takes so long for a new novel to release!

I'm just so grateful to God that my someday finally arrived, and I'm able to fully enjoy it now, in the prime of my life. Sharing great books with you, and writing reviews and interviews...that's my someday come true!

So don't miss out on "On A Someday"...pick a copy up today. I'm giving this one five out of five bookmarks, with a calendar as a charm.

Not only that, I'm giving you a chance to win a copy...just leave me your someday dream, and I'll pick a winner on April 30th!

Happy Reading!

At this point in my life, my someday dream is becoming a grandmother. Our two sons are still a bit young for marriage and children, but someday I hope to be a wonderful grandmother!

I completely agree with your comments about Roxanne's writing, Deena - and I haven't even finished her Brewster series yet.

My daughter just moved to Germany last fall to lead a campus ministry, so my dream is to visit her and my new son-in-law "someday."

Thanks for the chance to win "On a Someday."
