Author of the Month: 10 Things You Never Knew About Marlo!

Ever get curious about the author behind your favorite book(s)?

Here's a glimpse at Marlo, up close and curious---I mean, personal!!

1) My first horse was a ¾ Quarter Horse ¼ Appaloosa gelding named Hustling Hobo.

2) I was a cheerleader in junior high.

3) The first book I ever read all by myself was The Carrot Seed.

4) I failed my first test in college after getting straight A’s in high school – the test was in Chemistry, and I went on to major in that subject (what was I thinking?!!?)

5) I was a part of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Stanford.

6) I went to Harvard summer school the summer after my junior year in high school and roomed with a girl from Greece.

7) I taught math in Spanish at Gilroy High School, even though I don’t speak Spanish (what an adventure!)

8) I have two horses (Jewel and Rusty) and love to ride (especially with my Aussie saddle).

9) My favorite C.S. Lewis book, besides the Narnian Chronicles, is A Grief Observed.

10) My favorite book of the Bible is ??? (yeah, I know that’s crazy).

So, which book of the Bible is Marlo's favorite? Guess, and if you guess correctly, you'll win a copy of her new book, "If Tomorrow Never Comes"!! (HINT: Think OLD Testament!) I'll pick a winner March 31st!

Happy Reading!

I just tried to comment but it didn't look like it worked because I wasn't logged in... so I'm trying again.

I'm going to go with the Psalms! That is one of my favorites anyway. :-)
