A Passion Redeemed by Julie Lessman

Men of the world...if you fall in love with a woman named O'Connor...run for the hills! First Faith, and now Charity...I'm curious as to what little Beth may put us through in book three!

We met the O'Connors of Boston in "A Passion Most Pure". Faith had found the love her life, but he loved her younger sister, Charity. With venom and spite, the younger sister set out to best the older...if you read the book, you know who won and who lost.

Not to spoil this plot for you, but Charity's at it again, and this time she pulls out all the stops, setting her cap for a man who just won't have it. Her. Them. Together...

...oh my! When Julie calls her books "Passion[anything]", she really means it! The O'Connors are Irish, and full of the blarney. Passion runs through their veins, and when it is directed at Jesus it is a gorgeous sight to behold.

But when it is used for selfish gain, whether in love or any other venture, destruction must follow in passion's mighty wake. Charity learns the hard way what nothing else in life can teach her.

Love from God is the only love we truly need. Everything else is icing on that cake. But don't worry...Charity is a gal who knows how to have her cake, icing...and devour it all up!

I'm glad I never had to go up against a girl like her...but then again, I've been her. And she had me raging on one page, crying on another, and chuckling at her ridiculous antics and false promises.

All seeking the love of a Father Who would never leave her side, nor turn His back on her. What a fantastic series this has been! And there's more to come...a third "Daughters of Boston" book will be releasing next year. I only wonder, can my heart take any more passion? LOL!

I'm giving "A Passion Redeemed" a full five bookmarks out of five, with a crochet snowflake, stiff as can be, as a charm. Don't miss this incredible historical series.

Happy Reading!
