The South ;)
Well... if you are talking about the USA part of America my favourite would be the northwest. If you are talking about North America then my favourite part is Vancouver Island off the coast of British Columbia. Beautiful!
This sounds great! Count me in!
My favorite is the South, too, especially the Carolinas.
Cool! I didn't know Mindy Starns Clark had a new book out. I so loved Callie Webber and wish that series could go on forever. I even became great friends with Jo Tulip and was sad to finish that series. My favorite region of America would have to be wherever a great book takes me, but I prefer the warmer climates!
Thanks for the update on your eyesight... I will continue praying for you!
As far as favorite regions of the country, I would have to say that I would pick two that I have been privileged to live in. One would be the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, with its cactus, sand, sage, mountain ranges, monsoon rains and gorgeous sunsets. I was born there, then went back for 18 months when I was just reaching my adult years. Absolutely love it there. It is a different kind of beauty, and since I am a hot weather person I even like the summers! :-D I liked the uniqueness of it, and I learned to love the rustle of friendly lizards roaming through the yard. :-)
My other favorite is where I currently live, in the Ozark mountains. Lovely, peaceful woods. Picturesque rock outcroppings. Winding rivers with plenty of fish for the catching. Moderate seasons. Friendly folks. It is where I am called to be for now, and I love it, too. :-) God is good in that way... and every way!

Hmmm. The Great Lakes region. Specifically, Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Tons of unspoiled natural beauty, history, nice people, and not too crowded.

The West :)
I LOVE Mindy Starns Clark!!
Oh, I haven't been over much of the US. I live in the Great Lakes region, but I don't think it's my favorite. I would love to visit the West. I think that would be my favorite region.
The South definitely. Georgia and the Carolinas to be specific.

Thanks for the eyesight update (perhaps you could try audiobooks for awhile).
I love the mountains of Colorado in particular but I pretty much love our whole country in general too :). This one looks great. Count me in.
Oh, I have been wanting to read this one! The other Mindy Starns Clark books that I read I really, really enjoyed :)
I live in the South, and have mostly only vacationed here also, so I don't have much to compare to. So, my answer is the South too! We really love the Smokey Mountain area :)
Thanks for the update on your eye. I hope that it clears up and you don't need to see the cranky specialist. You are in my prayers.
My favorite region right now would be where we're currently living - the Tehachapi Mountains. Love it here!

I really love Cape Cod, wish I could go back again soon! Thanks for doing the giveaway.
I love the Smokey Mountains. I hope to go back there again one day.
Deena,
Hope and pray that God makes the "mass" disappear on it's own. I can imagine the frustration of not being able to read during this time. Have yo thought about having someone read out loud to you sometimes on the books you can't yet get audio for? Just a thought.
As for the drawing of course throw my name in. Sounds like a great suspense book.
My favorite region would have to be Willamette Valley right here where I live. Though the rain gets old after a few months and the hot days we do get can be too hot sometimes, both the mountains and the coast are only day trips and I have yet to find somewhere else that is truly green outside of the valleys of the Pacific NW on the western side of the Cascades.

I live in the Great Lakes region as well and love it. I've visted almost all of the regions except the NW and NE (been as far as NY but no further north).
I think I prefer the area I live in the most.
I love the South East, especially the Carolina coast, and of course, the mountains of Carolina, which is where I live!
I live in the South and also happen to love it here. But the part of the country that I can't seem to get enough of is New England. Anywyere in NE, but especially the coastal area from Nantucket to Maine.
I love Mindy's books and would love to read this one. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.

Evening! My favorite area is the Northeast! It is quaint, old and cooler than the Midwest. Please enter me in this book drawing. I love suspense and mysteries. Thanks, Cindi

I'm still praying for your eye; it's so good to hear that it might not need further treatment.
As for the BEST place to live OR visit, it has to be South Florida! I was born in PA, raised in D.C. and MD, lived in CA and TX, and traveled throughout a good of this beautiful country. Florida is my choice.

My favorite region of America is also the South ~ specifically the Outer banks of North Carolina :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I've lived in 3 western Canadian provinces as well as Montana and Oregon. I've visited 5 Canadian provinces and 6 states. I still like the area west of Portland, Oregon the best.
Don't know what I would do if I lost my eyesight; I'd be totally lost.

Thanks for the great contest, please enter me!! :) I love Mindy Starns Clark and have this on my WishList over at Paperback Swap!!!! :)
I have to go with New England, which is where I'm from. I love the changing of the seasons and although in the winter at times I gripe about the cold, I know that if I ever left here, I would miss the snow and the beauty of it. I also can't imagine living anywhere that does not have the beautiful colors of autumn!!!! :)
I like Florida, even with the heat, humidity and hurricanes! The white sand beaches you can run barefoot on without burning, the pretty shells, shopping galore, and yes they have Disney World but they have so much other activities for people of all ages and interests, so much to do and your money can stretch better than in other parts! Mainly just a fun place to do something, or just kick back and do nothing at all!
I would have to say the North East area since it's beautiful! But someday I would love to check out the south more.

I like the midwest purely because we have a very distinct change of seasons here and I would really, really miss that if I went anywhere else.
