I'm finding that there's power in the small books I get! "Simple Little Words" is a compliation project by Michelle Cox and John Perrodin that will rival any 'Chicken Soup' book any day of the week!
Stories of encouragement from the famous and not famous people of everyday life are put together to illustrate how powerful just a few words to lift someone up can truly be.
You'll read stories by Karen Kingsbury, Ron DiCianni, Mary DeMuth, and the founder of Chick-Fil-A, S. Truett Cathy. Also included are stories from people we've never heard of, but will remember long after we've finished the book.
"Simple Little Words" can be read cover to cover, or a story at a time. Each story covers topics such as Self-Esteem, Hope, Dreams, Direction, and Grace---plus many, many more.
In an age of negativism and mean-spirited behavior, a book such as this is so needed! So, I'm giving away TWO copies to ONE person who leaves me a comment--one for you, and one for a friend. Let's spread some encouragement with some "Simple Little Words"!
I'll select ONE winner on June 30th! So spread the word about "Simple Little Words"--and check out the website by clicking here.
Happy Reading!
Deena

This sounds really good!! I'm a big believer in communication - especially uplifting communication - and I'm sure this would be helpful to me. What we say and how we say it really is important. Thanks, Deena!

Hi, I have always believed in the power of the spoken word. It can build people up or tear them down. I have grown up with a birthmark on the left side of my face. I can't even begin to tell you the cruel words that were said to me my kids my own age and even adults. They were powerful enough that I will never forget them. Words should be used to build up, not tear down an individual. Thanks, Cindi
