Olympia Snowe, she does help out Maines' working poor... the best person really is someone who wasn't born with a silver spoon in their mouth, and had to work hard to get to where they are today.

I do not follow politics very closely, but if it were at all a choice, I would vote for a leader who is a born-again believer. I was so excited to follow Mike Huckabee's campaign, and would still vote for him if given the chance.

Thanks for this giveaway - it looks like a very interesting story!!

Happy Saturday! This is very difficult for me! I don't trust too many politicians anymore. Money talks! On the other hand, the person running for president needs to have knowledge about dealing with so many aspects of being the leader of the free world. I would have to think about this fro awhile. Thanks, Cindi

I have a hard time knowing who would be sincere. I think I would vote for Shaun Groves. He would be so suprised to be put in such a position! ;)

I'm taking this question seriously, so that prevents me from naming someone outside the political area just for fun. I completely agree with what Cindi said. Not to avoid your question, but I would have to think longer on this, because people with honor, integrity and trustworthiness are hard to find.

Thanks for the chance to win this book, though!

That's just too difficult of a question to answer nor am I comfortable putting myself out there politically. I think it's because my parents are so staunch in their views that they have turned me off to politics and I get so aggravated with the hatred that it breeds between the two parties that I choose not to discuss it with anyone.

well... I'm Canadian so I guess I wouldn't be voting for the president :) But I would vote for someone random like my god-mom to be president. She is the head ER nurse in a busy downtown US hospital, 65 years old, and I'm sure could run several countries just fine :)

Mother Teresa would have also made a good candidate. Too bad she passed away.

hmmm. I'm not hugely into politics, so I don't really know who I would vote for. Maybe Condoleezza Rice. She seems pretty capable of running a country.

Please enter me in the contest!

I'm old enough to run, maybe I'll put my own name down as a write-in. Just kidding!

I think Condi or Huckabee would be good choices.

I'm just praying that God will put in the person He wants.

Ron Paul. He understands that liberty and personal responsibility go hand in hand. I am for anyone who wants to get rid of big government that wants to be our perpetual parents.

I'd like to see that great "blow hard", Rush Lindbaugh, give the White House a try and see if he could mix things up a bit!

I think Dr. James Dobson is a great man. He gets into politics sometimes with his opinions. I'd like to see him in the White House.
