On Tour With Mike Dellosso and "The Hunted" (Please Read EVERYTHING)!

A Bit About Mike:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mike now lives in Hanover, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Jen, and their three daughters. He writes a monthly column for Writer . . .Interrupted, was a newspaper correspondent/columnist for over three years, has published several articles for The Candle of Prayer inspirational booklets, and has edited and contributed to numerous Christian-themed Web sites and e-newsletters. Mike is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance, the Relief Writer’s Network, and International Thriller Writers. He received his BA degree in sports exercise and medicine from Messiah College and his MBS degree in theology from Master’s Graduate School of Divinity.

More amazing than any of this, Mike is also battling cancer. As we tour his amazing book, we ask for prayers for this incredibly brave man. To read more of Mike's story, click here.

A Bit About The Book:

Joe Saunders is determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the brutal mauling of his nephew.

Police Chief Maggie Gill is determined to protect the mystery surrounding her family’s deadly secret.

But neither is prepared for the truth when the mystery revealed uncovers the horror that is lurking in the shadows of Dark Hills.

After learning of the disappearance of his nephew, Joe Saunders returns to his childhood home of Dark Hills to aid in the search effort. When Caleb is found, badly mauled and clinging to life, Joe embarks on a mission to find the beast responsible. But the more Joe delves into the fabric of his old hometown, the more he realizes Dark Hills has a dark secret, shrouded for three generations in a deadly code of silence. As Joe unravels the truth behind a series of unexplained animal attacks, murder, and corruption at the highest level of law enforcement, he is led to a final showdown where he must entrust his very life into God’s hands.

My Review:

This is an amazing debut novel that will quickly join the ranks of Ted Dekker's "Thr3e", Frank Peretti's "Monster", and the duo's collaboration titled "House". But "The Hunted packs more of a spiritual punch than any of the previous titles. And that is what makes it king of the pack!

Mike Dellosso has truly written a suspenseful, if not horror-filled tale of vengeance, perfectly illustrating the Scripture that states " 'Vengeance is mine', thus says the Lord."

With crisp and fast paced action, well fleshed out characters (bad choice of words...trust me!), and a storyline that keeps you flipping pages as quickly as you can read them, Mike has carefully crafted a story that is much more than entertaining.

When Joe's brother Rick died, so did his faith in God. Or so Joe thought. What Mike also illustrates is that no matter how tiny an ember we let our believe shrink to, once a believer, the Holy Spirit never leaves us. And He will use anything He wants to get us back on our knees in prayer to God.

Question is...what will it take to get Joe's attention? And, once gotten...will he pay attention to what God is communicating? For that is the key to unraveling this tangled mess we call "The Hunted".

Powerfully and masterfully written, this stunning debut novel will please any fan of the gripping suspense genre. Be warned: it gets VERY intense. Which is why I'm awarding "The Hunted" the over the top six out of five bookmarks, and giving it my flashlight charm...with extra batteries!!
