Farraday Road by Ace Collins

Photobucket

There I was...just minding my own business...reading my book...and then...

WHAM!! I was hit with a cliff-hanger to end all cliff-hangers! Ace, friend, author buddy...how could you DO this to me??

"Farraday Road" is a fiction debut from well known author Ace Collins. He's known for the collections of "Best Loved Stories..."--remember him? And now he'll be known for suspenseful fiction in the league of Terri Blackstock and Brandilyn Collins, Robert Whitlow and Randy Singer!

It was just another typical outing for beloved couple Lije and Kaitlyn Evans...who would ever want to hurt them? But the evidence is right before Deputy Mikki Stuart's eyes...if only she could tell what she'd seen.

Thus begins a mystery that goes back centuries...back to the days of the Cold War and when Germany was more of a superpower in the world. Why is Swope's Ridge cursed, and why does something tragic befall every owner of the famed property?

Who really murdered Micah Dean, and can it be revealed in time to save the life of a man on death row? And what are the authorities covering up?

And how in the world did Ol' Iron get washed away from its solid moorings?

These are the questions that beg to be answered in the pages of "Farraday Road", and many of them will be answered...but be warned--not all is explained within the pages...

Thus my scream as I turned the final page of the book...and after watching FIVE cliff-hanging episodes of my favorite criminal dramas...I didn't NEED this torture! I will be eagerly awaiting the sequel to this stunning debut novel!

You, on the other hand, will be awaiting the premier of "Farraday Road", debuting in October 2008 from Zondervan:-) Till then, I'm giving "Farraday Road" five out of five bookmarks, with a tiny train engine as a charm.

Happy Reading!

Deena
