May I Introduce: God Said Yes by Heather Hornback-Black and Ninie Hammon

Honestly, God has been blowing me away with the books I've been reading lately! I was reluctant to do a Biography month, as so many of them are dry as dust. No way, jose! These books are convicting, and in a good way. Not a conviction of "Why aren't you more like so and so", but rather a conviction of "See what a life sold out to me can be? Now, don't you want that?"

After you read THIS story...you'll see your life in an entirely different way, I guarantee it...

I first heard about Heather through an email newsletter from an author friend of mine, and immediately I was intrigued. Through a course of emails, I received my own copy of "God Said Yes."

Now, let me tell you...I'm only a third of the way finished, and I simply couldn't wait any longer to introduce Heather Hornback-Black to y'all!! Talk about an amazing woman...and as a child, she was a stick of dynamite for Jesus!

Heather was run over by her mother when she was only four years old...a horrid accident that changed the lives of all who knew her. And you will not BELIEVE just how changed those lives were!

It has been, upon the writing of this book, 34 years, 187 surgeries, and 13 medical miracles since that fateful day of the accident. Heather is not only gorgeous on the outside (trust me, she is beautiful), but she is equally gorgeous on the inside as well.

Gifted with amazing faith and resilience, Heather never met a person she didn't chat up. As a young girl, I think even before her accident, she was fascinated with cars, and tended to ask anyone and everyone what kind of car they had. Among other things!

The story of her surgery ceremony brought tears to my eyes and laughter to my heart. And when she visited Tony, the football player with leukemia...well, let's just say I had to stop reading until my vision cleared.

If you've ever been the kind of person who has ever questioned God: "Why did You allow this to happen? Where were You?", then YOU NEED TO READ HEATHER'S STORY IMMEDIATELY!

God is such a loving and faithful Father, and we just do not get Him sometimes. Praise God Heather did, and she wrote this book, (along with Ninie Hammon), and I received that newsletter, and she sent me this book. I'm telling you, this was a divine appointment to end all appointments.

Praise God I started blogging...I wouldn't have missed the opportunities and privilege I have had to read the most amazing books. I'm giving "God Said Yes" a resounding seven out of five bookmarks (no, I'm not losing my touch...I'm just hitting a streak of life changing and amazing books:-), with a horse as a charm...

Please, oh please, do not miss this book...or "I Would Die For You" either. These stories of lives totally and competely surrendered to God are not to be missed...trust me.

Happy Reading!

I would like to contact you for your recommendations regarding the marketing of my new book How To Become A Better Grandparent --50 Never Before Shared Secrets.

But when I wrote you via Blogger, it bounced. How can I get in touch with you?
