Well, Erynn's done it again! Wacky humor and abundant faith are back in "Rematch", her second novel in the Lauren Holbrook series.
Laurie succeeded in her matchmaking plans for two couples...and she has her eye on another pair or two. According to Laurie, her boss and kind of brother is perfect for his secretary and her best gal pal, Hannah.
But will they ever see that? And when the new girl, Hallie, shows up at the Wednesday night singles Bible study, will she drive a wedge in Laurie's matchmaking plans, or does Laurie have a plan for her as well?
The dialogue is non stop, and the humor is laugh out loud. Laurie's faith is strong, and the message of salvation is evident...there's a really cool conversion conversation that just flows like water in this one.
I would LOVE to be a part of this wacky, wonderful circle of friends...although I'm not a huge Jane Austen fan (I know, I know--that makes me odd woman out!), and I think Laurie's dad insane for painting the living room that icky lime green...
What would drive a man to do such a thing?? Ha! You'll have to get a copy and read it for yourself!
The biggest question is this: can the matchmaker identify her OWN match?? Or is she blind to....ha, almost got me to tell you, didn't you?!?
"Rematch" is another favorite that gets five out of five bookmarks with a lipstick stained coffee cup charm, and now I'm off to

I loved this one too but to me the first one is better. There is one more book coming next summer called "Matchpoint" I believe. Her website is pretty neat. :)
Sometimes the covers of new books are just as exciting as the new books themselves!
