Embrace Grace By Liz Curtis Higgs

"Embrace Grace" by Liz Curtis Higgs is a book that has tugged at me for some time now. Yet, I kept putting it off, reading other things that appealed, and letting this little nugget sit there.

But the cover alone reminds me of fall, and with our Fall Into Reading challenge kicking into high gear, I figured, "Now is the time to pick it up and crack the cover."

And what treasure I've found in this little book!

Filled with testimonies of real women, and packed with Scripture, "Embrace Grace" does more than encourage you to accept God's grace...

It wraps you in it.

Like a warm, comforting quilt, you feel drenched in God's love and full acceptance of you as a believer in Christ. No matter where you've been, what you've done, or who you used to be...God adores you and forgives you completely.

This is a perfect gift for a sister in Christ who is struggling with God's forgiveness. It's also a perfect gift for a new believer who is just experiencing God's grace.

But it's an ideal gift for yourself, to realize the height, depth, width, and length of God's grace.

I give "Embrace Grace" five out of five...I love Liz's conversational style in this one...like having coffee with a good friend who's gone down that road and who knows just what to say to bring healing.

Happy Reading!
