Catch A Rising Star by Tracey Bateman

I loved it! Tracey has kicked off a brand new series, and it's so much fun!

Tabby Brockman used to star on a major soap opera. Now, she reads stories to children in costume...her in the costume, not the children. But Peter Cottontail gets hostile with a little girl, and now she's unemployed again.

But wait, what's the latest gossip? Tabby's character is being resurrected (oh, like that DOESN'T happen on soaps:-). But can Tabby maintain her faith and still be a soap diva?

And what about that stage dad and those twins? Can she warm up to "her children" without warming up to dear old dad? Will Tabby be able to get it together, and keep from losing who she is for the sake of fame?

Not only do we get to meet Tabby and learn to adore her, but we meet Tabby's roommates, Dancy and Laini...each starring in their own book in this fun chick lit series. Tracey has penned a winner here. Can't wait for book #2, "You Had Me From Goodbye"...

"Catch A Rising Star" gets five out of five bookmarks from me, with a tiny script in rainbow pages as a charm...for all the re-writes, doncha know!!

Happy Reading!
