Ok. That's IT!! No more James Scott Bell novels for ME!
My poor heart cannot TAKE it anymore! And my willpower to not peek at the ending is just NOT. THAT. STRONG.
This has to be his best to date. Sam Trask is an attorney, and he's become a believer in Jesus. He desires to always take the high road in all he does, but he struggles.
He has issues with his daughter, and his marriage is good but not great. But he's trying, and he's learning.
Then, an email from someone in his past begins to unravel his life in ways he could never dream of. No memory of the person; plenty of memories of him.
What is the force driving this stranger to torment Sam? How far will he go to get what he wants? What lengths will Sam go to in order to protect those he loves? And will the torment and stalking ever end??
This is an adrenaline rush like no other I've read this year. It took everything I had to not peek, and there were times I almost put the book down, unable to handle the ride. But, oh, what a ride it was!!
Do not--I repeat--DO NOT begin this novel unless you have undevoted time to spare. You've been warned. I am innocent of your droopy and red rimmed eyes from lack of sleep and your mounds of unwashed laundry:-)
No Legal Grounds gets a stunning 4 bookmarks and a tassel from me....some of the story was a stretch...but hey, out of a possible 5...that's not bad writin'!!
