My Thoughts:

Liz Johnson's debut novel is a gem!  I enjoyed every moment I spend with Marie Carrington on Prince Edward Island, home of the literary world's beloved Anne Shirley.  This is a series I'm excited about, and I know you will be as well.

Marie is on the run...but from what?  Or from whom?  When her chance meeting with Jack Sloane earns her transport the idyllic PEI, and promises a fresh start.  But once Marie meets Jack's nephew, she wonders if she's escaped the fire to be grilled by Seth.

Descriptive scenery is paired with engaging conversation and populated with memorable characters.  I was drawn into the story from the first page, and I found myself wanting to get my own ticket to what reads like a magical land.
