About the Book:
Austin Delvecchio has tried to use his Constabulary resources to track down his missing girlfriend Violet. He finds a stranger instead, held illegally and mistreated. Rescuing the man will make Austin's boss an enemy, but ignoring the situation will mean the man's death.
Lee Vaughn has lost the most important person in her life. She continues his work her way, providing black market medical assistance to Christians and allowing fugitive Violet to live with her. Then she learns what really happened to Marcus, and the danger following him leaves them all with only one option: to flee.
To make it to freedom, all four will have to rely on their traveling companions. But that's not easy when confronting past hurts, fear, and distrust.

My Thoughts:
When I first started reading "Take and Give", the third book in the Haven Seekers series by Amanda G. Stevens, I was under the impression this was the final book. And I was relieved.
Turns out, I was wrong. And I'm no longer relieved. Why, you ask?
Simple put, with each book in this out-of-the-park series, Amanda turns up the heat and cranks up the danger, and it all feels just a bit too possible for me. While my head knows she's writing about imaginary people...
....my adrenaline-racing heart thinks I hear a knock at my door!
Captivating characters, plausible story, and mind bending action escalate in "Take and Give", providing readers with an all-too-chilling glimpse into what could be the world of the future. Lay any of Amanda's novels next to today's headlines and see if you don't get goosebumps!
Oh, and did I mention the surprises Amanda has for us in this third story? Yeah, she puts 'shock and awe' to work and she blew my mind a few times! Once again, I found myself praying for Austin, Lee, Violet and their friends...even though these aren't real people.
I'm hesitantly eager for the fourth novel in the "Haven Seekers" series...simply because I don't know if my fight or flight system is fully recharged just yet! My thanks to my friends at David C. Cook Publishing for my advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
Highly recommended...and do NOT read alone!
Happy Reading!

Oh wow, thank you, Deena! The fourth (and final) book isn't out until February 2016, so your adrenaline should have time to recharge by then. :-) Many thanks for reading, for a great review, and for caring about my characters enough to pray for them. ;)
