Hidden Agenda by Lisa Harris

About the Book:

Michael Hunt is alive--and on the run. Presumed dead by friends and family, the undercover assignment he's been working for the past eight months has just been blown. With a hit out on his life and corruption inside the Atlanta police department, Michael finds himself hunted by both the cartel and the law. His only hope is the daughter of the man who wants him dead.

This nonstop chase from taut suspense writer Lisa Harris will leave readers breathless as they race to connect the dots before it's too late.

My Thoughts:

Lisa has taken us down a "Dangerous Passage", held us hostage with a "Fatal Exchange", and now we uncover a "Hidden Agenda" as we begin the third novel in her "Southern Crimes" series.  In my opinion, having read all three, this is the best and most powerful book of the trio.

I can't imagine having to fake your own death and cause your family to grieve a loss that isn't real.  But that's how much Michael believes in the job he's doing.  Problem is, the cartel isn't known for playing fair.  Will his family ultimately end up grieving once again?

Olivia and Ivan are well developed characters and the perfect addition to the cast.  Previous characters also make appearances in "Hidden Agenda", and all the pieces from the first two novels begin to fall into place.

My thanks to my friends at Revell Publishing for my complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.  I've enjoyed each book in the "Southern Crimes" series, but "Hidden Agenda" is my favorite by far.  Highly recommended.

Happy Reading!
