My Thoughts:

One of the many blessings of being a reviewer is the chance to read books I might overlook.  It's a huge publishing marketplace, and I still get pleasantly surprised now and then with a book I might have missed.

"Princess Cupcake Jones Won't Go To School" is one of those books.  Written for children, the story features a little girl named Cupcake, who happens to be a princess.  Royalty aside, she's like every other normal child.

Lots of children are afraid of new experiences, and I think going off to school tops the list.  Cupcake attempts just about everything to avoid going to school: faking sick, nothing to wear, and just plain hiding from her mom.

But mom is wise and experienced, and once she gets her daughter to school both Cupcake and the reader discover there's nothing to be afraid of.  School can be really fun!

My thanks to my friends at Belle Publishing for sending me my first "Princess Cupcake Jones" storybook in exchange for an honest review.  Definitely recommended.

Happy Reading!
