My Thoughts:
Honestly, I never thought another author could top my list of 'must read suspense'...but Irene Hannon has made it to number one for me. Her latest thriller in the "Guardians of Justice" is fast paced fiction that kept me going straight through to the final page.
Kelly Warren is a rich and multi-layered character that gains your sympathy from the moment you meet her. She believes passionately in her father's case and will stop at nothing to get to the solution. Even if it costs her life.
Detective Cole Taylor has met his match in Kelly...and it was fun to watch! His initial reluctance to believe her claims about murder quickly shift when Kelly's life is threatened...and he not only believes in her...but falls for her quickly and deeply.
Irene writes fiction with passion, intensity, and just the right amount of faith. Her stories are gripping and believable, her characters are rich and easy to connect with, and her writing keeps you guessing until the end of the book. She's easily become my new favorite suspense writer.
I can only hope her new series releases soon...I need another book from Irene Hannon! I received my copy from Revell Publishing in exchange for my honest review, and I can honestly say that "Lethal Legacy" is HIGHLY recommended.
