Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball by Donita K. Paul

Filled with heart and with whimsy, Donita K. Paul's foray into contemporary fiction is a winner with me! Her Christmas novella stays true to her fantastical themes, but brings a modern flavor to her writing.

"Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball" showcases the bookshop of Warner, Werner and Wizbotterdad, a rather unusual bookshop on Sage Street. Cora Crowder is searching for the perfect gift and ends up receiving a gift of her own.

Her employer, Simon Derrick, is also a recipient of a gift...it would seem both have been invited to the annual Christmas Ball. It seems the booksellers at this little shop peddle more than books...romance is their middle name, so to speak.

Have they created a perfect match with Simon and Cora, or will these two opposites refuse to attract? Sprinkled with magical detail and just enough faith, "Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball" will have you believing again.

Believing in love, romance...and the power of faith in a God who wants only the best for us.

So curl up by the fire with your favorite beverage, put your feet up for a bit and enjoy this treat from Waterbrook Press (my thanks for my copy go out to them!). I'm giving "Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball" four out of five bookmarks, with a snowball as a charm.

Happy Reading!
