Fit For My King by Sheri Rose Shepherd

Many women are wanting to lose weight and to be physically fit. We all want to feel better and look better on some level, don't we? Sheri Rose Shepherd has found a motivation of a heavenly nature, and it has worked for her!

Sheri is like most of us...she battled an eating disorder and struggled with a chronic illness. Many women I've met via my blog are battling illness that lingers, destroying their health and well-being. Sheri's plan is easy to implement and follow.

If you've read any of Sheri's books, you know that she views Jesus as more than her Savior...she truly loves and serves Him as her King. Many of us know this, but do we live like it? I think if we did, we would offer Him our best instead of what is left after a hectic, busy day.

In Sheri's book you can find tips, anecdotal stories, recipes and much more. A thirty day devotional plan as well as places to record your feelings help keep you motivated.

This is a perfect book to do alone or in a small group study. Gather some of your friends who've expressed a desire to become healthier and begin a group to support and encourage one another. New Year is coming...why not invest in feeling better?

I'm giving Sheri's book four out of five bookmarks, with a pen as a charm. I only wish the binding on this book was as attractive as the binding on Sheri's other books. But that's a small issue, isn't it?

Sheri's book is available from Revell (Thanks for my copy, Donna!) beginning this month! Don't miss it!

Happy Reading!
