This is a book that, if I were independently wealthy, I'd buy a copy for every woman I know...and then some! If you only read one book this year, read this one. It will change your relationship with God, and change your life.

It has changed mine.

Lysa has re-ignited my passion for God, His Word, His power, and His presence in my life. God orchestrated events this last weekend to bring everything together to show Himself powerfully to me in a new, fresh way. This book is only one piece, but oh, what a great picture she paints with her writing!

Lysa is an excellent teacher and ministry leader for two reasons: she's real and she's practical. I loved her humor and her openness. I was able to relate to her on a personal level, and if we lived near one another, I have a feeling we'd be study-buddies.

She shares simply about her life, but hides nothing. Her honesty is an encouragement in an age of plastic and false faith. Lysa's testimony is one of grace that keeps on and mercy unending...something we all have, but few know how to tap into.

While her book encourages us to be more than just good Bible study girls, she encourages "self-feeding" when it comes to Scripture, and shares some easy to implement ideas that I found stimulating and refreshing.

Lysa also shares how to apply what we read in Scripture to our everyday lives, but she does it so honestly that you can't help but want what she's found! And she makes is so accessible that any woman, regardless of age or how long you've walked with God, you can find something to take away from this book.
