The Missionary by William Carmichael and David Lambert

Have you ever been SO passionate about doing a work for God that you fall into a situation that started out as a good idea, only to leave you in a maze you can't escape from?

Then welcome to "The Missionary", a novel by William Carmichael and David Lambert! David Eller has a passion for helping the orphans of Caracas, Venezuela, and has poured his heart and soul into Espere la Aldea...or Hope Village.

When an opportunity opens up to raise much needed funds for the orphanage and mission, David doesn't need much time to think or pray...he jumps on it. What could go wrong?

Make a delivery, earn a mountain of money for the kids, right? But his wife, Christie feels something is off, and--men, pay attention here--David should have paid attention to his wife.

Overnight he goes from missionary to fugitive, and there doesn't seem to be any way out. Filled with intrigue, espionage, faith and the hope of Jesus Christ...you won't know who to trust or who to believe...until the final page is turned.

The authors have left room for a sequel, but I don't know if one is coming. That would be a shame in my opinion. Great writing, excellent character development and a gripping storyline make this an excellent summer read.

I'm giving "The Missionary" five out of five bookmarks with a briefcase as a charm...but don't open it! Once you do, your life may change forever!

Happy Reading!
