Allison Pittman spent seventeen years as a high school English teacher, and then shunned the advice of “experts,” quit her day job and set out to write novels that bring glory to God. She relishes inspiring other writers and leading the theater arts group at her church. She and her husband and three sons live in Universal City, Texas.

My Thoughts:

For historical fiction, Allison's novels contain realistic and rich detail and vibrant characters. Be prepared to take a trip in time, and to get so lost in the tale that you may forget where you are.

I'm not a historical fan, but Allison's writing is enough to make me wish I was...be watching for a full review soon.

My Thoughts:

I've had some trouble getting into this story...I must be honest with you on that. The writing is a little left of center, and my mind can't quite grasp the story arch. But, I'm only a few chapters into the tale, so I'm not ready to give my solid opinion on the novel.
