100 Answers to 100 Questions: Every Graduate Should Know by Lila Empson and Jayce O'Neal

I'm falling in love with this book series! I reviewed the book for moms in time for Mother's Day--hopefully you were intrigued by that review. Now, as we move into commencement season, here's a great gift for your graduate!

"100 Answers to 100 Questions Every Graduate Should Know" covers a wide variety of topics. Lila and Jayce really know their stuff--I found myself asking 'where was this book when I graduated?!'

With several sections, each one tackles a particular area of the graduates life. The first handles personal questions such as 'are you taking time to cherish memories?' That may seem like a silly question...unless you're preparing for graduation and know how hectic life can be!

The authors also discuss dealing with loneliness and building community. My youngest daughter is graduating in May from high school, and already has mixed emotions about the event.

Other questions answered deal with preparing for interviews, dealing with budgets, cooking for yourself, and other practical life issues that come with independence. Even if you're still planning on living at home, do not overlook these questions and answers.

But my favorite section is 'Stop and Listen: What Is God Saying'. Too often graduates abandon their faith for other things at the most critical point of their lives. "100 Answers to 100 Questions" will make them pause a moment and include God in their futures.

This book has so much to offer, if I covered it all my review would be pages long. Trust me when I say this is a must read for every graduate, especially the high school grad. I'm giving this book as a gift to my daughter, and I plan on giving it to every graduate I know from this point on.

"100 Answers to 100 Questions Every Graduate Should Know" gets the Golden Bookmark for publishing excellence, with a golden cap and tassel. I'm also voting it "Best Gift Book of 2009-Graduation".

Run out and buy up a bunch for the graduates in your life. It's not too late!

Happy Reading!
