Christine Lynxwiler has a gift with sweet and heartwarming romances, and her latest novel is a keeper! Her last two books were laced with humor, but this one will tug at your heartstrings.
Crystal McCord longs to land that Broadway role, and she'll keep going until it happens. At least, she thinks she will. Maybe a trip back home will help her settle on what her heart wants.
Someone needs to watch the family ranch while her parents take a much deserved vacation, and Crystal is the only one available. She's fine with it, to some extent...although the memories threaten to overwhelm her.
Thank goodness their neighbor, Jeremy Buchanan is there to lend a hand. Dealing with heartache of his own, he's the perfect person to help Crystal deal with her own pain. When God's plans take an unexpected turn, can Crystal and Jeremy navigate the curve, or will it through their lives for a loop?
Christine is one of my favorite Christian romance authors. Her stories never fail to entertain and encourage me, and I love sharing her books with my daughters. The romance is realistic and sweet, and the message of God's love is always present.
I'm giving "The Reluctant Cowgirl" four out of five bookmarks, with a calf as a charm. Mooove on down to the comment area to tell me your favorite farm animal, and you can win a copy for yourself!
I'll draw a winner next Sunday (Easter Sunday!)
Happy Reading!

I met Christine earlier this week at a book signing along with Mary Connealy, M.L. Tyndall and Kaye Dacus. My daughter has this book, but I have not read it yet.
I live in farm country and come from a family of ranchers/farmers. My favorite farm animal is a horse. Hands down.
This looks like a fun book. Count me in for a drawing!
I'd say my favorite farm animal is a cow.
Please include me in your drawing.
I havent been on a farm in a long time. But my favorite farm animals are the baby cows and the barn cats.
My favorite farm animal is also a horse. Please enter me!

I love all -baby- farm animals. But for farm animals in general, it's the horse hands down.
I would have to say the Horses.
I'd love to read this!
I am a huge animal lover so I'm not sure what my favorite would be but if I have to choose then I think it would be a donkey. Hee-Haw :)

Thanks! :)
Sounds like a really good book. Love to read it. My favorite farm animal is a chicken. I used to chase them all the time when I was a kid.

My best friend lived on a farm when I was growing up - and she had pet rabbits! So I always associate rabbits with farms! They would have to be my favorites.

How fun! I'd like to be entered for the giveaway.
My favorite farm animals are chickens. I love to have chickens clucking around the yard. They add a peaceful air. :-)

I've enjoyed Christine's last two books and look forward to reading this one. I'd say horses are my favorite farm animal. I enjoy horseback riding.
