Author of the Month: Marlo Schalesky and "If Tomorrow Never Comes"

Marlo Schalesky is a favorite author because she isn't afraid to take a risk and to stretch the boundaries of the believable in her fiction. I've enjoyed her historically based fiction, but I'm absolutely in love with her "romance stories with a twist".

Kinna Henley has simple dreams--typical dreams. A home, a husband, and a family of her own. When those dreams begin to make her life a living nightmare, just how far will Kinna go to gain her happily-ever-after, and what will it ultimately cost her?

Jimmy Henley should be a happy man--he won the heart of his best girl. Coming from a background so unlike Kinna's 'normal family upbringing', Jimmy should feel blessed. So then why does he feel as if he's walking under a cloud of cursing, waiting for lightening to finally strike as it is want to strike?

Two people who supposedly have it all still longing for that illusive more--until the desire for more consumes who they are and leaves--what?

When mysterious strangers enter their lives, are they friends or foes? Shadows of past or present--or future?

Marlo leaves you with a twist again, but unlike the one at the end of "Beyond the Night". If you've read that novel, then you'll understand why I turned each page with excited trepidation in "If Tomorrow Never Comes"...

...because with Marlo, you just never know what's around the corner. You DO know it's going to be delicious reading, though! That's why I'm giving "If Tomorrow Never Comes" five out of five bookmarks, with a tulip as a charm.

You pick the color of the tulip, leave me a comment with your wish, and you could win a copy of Marlo's not yet on shelves book!! I'll draw two winners on March 17th--release day!

Spread the news...tell a friend...and don't forget to pick your color!

Happy Reading!

Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. I would have to choose pink tulips. They are such a "cheery" flower!

I would pick a blue tulips today...if you'd have asked me yesterday, I would have picked pink but .... any spring time color will do. Thanks for reviewing this book - you always have a way of "intriguing" me and making me want to read a particular book. This one is no different. Thanks for the chance to win. Have a blessed week.

Wow - lots of good comments and colors. I want yellow with a red stripe (can't help it - I always "have to be different" according to Mom).
Great review; makes this book sound inviting and interesting.
