"Purr More, Hiss Less" is page after page of witty tidbits gleaned from the owner of a cat (actually, multiple cats). You can tell Allia not only loves her felines, but has a genuine heart for her readers.

I think my favorite quote from this gift book is "fighting takes away from the time you could be chasing butterflies." How much time do I waste bickering over trivial stuff, missing out on God's creation because I'm frustrated or down in the dumps?

Truly, cats are the most carefree of pets, and we can learn quite a bit from them. If you're not a cat lover, I still think you can glean gems of joy from reading "Purr More, Hiss Less". Buy a copy or two for your cat-loving friends.

I'm rating this one four out of five bookmarks, with a catnip mouse as a charm. I'm not a cat lover, but I wouldn't call myself a cat hater either. When it comes to felines, I'm Switzerland:-)
