Author of the Month--Susan May Warren's book, "The Perfect Match"

When I first discovered Susan's books, this was one of the first I read, and I immediately fell in love with her and her style.

Since the publication of this series, Susan has gone on to become a multi-genre author...and I'm eager to dive into her newest project...more on that later!

"The Perfect Match" is the third in the Deep Haven series, a lovely imagined town with the most wonderful characters that never leave your heart. I was thrilled when I heard Tyndale was re-releasing this one, as it's my favorite of the series.

Imagine being a fire chief of a small town--a FEMALE fire chief. Yeah, you get it, don't you?? Ellie Karlson is the interim chief, and she's going to prove she can do the job and do it well.

Problem is, with an all male crew under her, will they let her lead or trip her up every opportunity they can?

In a small town, often the crew consists of volunteers from the community. Enter Pastor Dan Mattthews, the one fire Ellie can't seem to put out no matter what she tries.

Can these two work out their differences, or will they stay at odds until one of them breaks? I adored Edith...she's a hoot and a half, and she's a major character in this stellar contemporary romance.

But Susan's never completely happy to be pigeon-holed as a 'romance author' or a 'suspense author'...she's got a knack for the perfect blend of humor, suspense, romance, and faith that makes every book a great read.

Want to win a new, fresh, never yet read copy of Susan's book? Throw your name in the hat by letting me know which of Susan's books are your favorite...or which one you want to read most.

I'll draw a winnner on January 31st...so tell a friend!

Happy Reading!

Love Susie and her books! Can't wait to get home and read all your AOTM posts!

Hugs to you both - don't include me in the draw, just wanted to stop by.

Well if you can read this one without reading the others first then I'd like to read this one since it was your favorite. Yet if you need to read them in order then I'd like to read the first one in the Deep Haven series.
Thanks so much for this giveaway!

I haven't read any of her books yet but I'd love to read one of them :) Your review makes her sound like a great writer and capturer of difficult social situations.

I haven't read any of Susan's books yet, but have books 1 & 2 in this series, so this would be my choice to read first. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of The Perfect Match.

I haven't ever read one of Warren's books, but I'm willing to try. Actually, the firefighter's hat is intriguing and makes me want to pick up the book, immediately.
