Trouble Up Finny's Nose by Dana Mentink

Photobucket

Thinking about taking a vacation? You might want to take a trip up Finny's Nose! (I've been waiting to say that ALL DAY:-)

In Dana Mentink's novel with Heartsong Presents Mysteries, "Trouble Up Finney's Nose" is no joke! Ruth Budge has just found out her deceased husband has kept a huge secret from her, God is far away...

...oh, and she found a dead body in the town fountain. Did I mention that??

Turns out, he was the temporary gardener for the Finny Gallery of Art, and now, well, he's just a mystery? I mean, who would want to kill the gardener? Did they not like his plants?

And what is going on at Napoleon Prinn's gallery? Who keeps sending him these plants, and why does he keep throwing them out? What's the big new attraction at the debut, and where is everyone coming from?

With quirky characters abounding, layer upon layer of back story, and a mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end, Dana Mentink has crafted a fun cozy with an interesting hook.

And the birds are a hoot!

If this is the quality of Heartsong Presents Mysteries, then I'm glad I'm a member! I'm giving "Trouble Up Finny's Nose" four out of five bookmarks, with a tissue...Finny's going to need it:-)

Want to win a copy? Leave me a comment, and I'll draw a winner April 1st!

Happy Reading!

Deena

How sweet! It was so kind of you to review Finny. There are two more in the series coming up. Thanks again for taking the time to read it. I know it's so hard to find the time to actually finish a book! Thanks again. Dana Mentink
